The Merrijig Rodeo.

Merrijig holds an annual rodeo on the Labour Day long weekend in March. The day sees some of the country's best riders performing — a great day out for the whole family.

Winter

Snow on the slopes of Mt Buller.

Mt Buller offers downhill skiing, tobogganing and tube rides. The Ski School takes kids from age 3 with lessons for every level. Mt Stirling next door is renowned for its cross-country skiing.

The High Country off-season.

When the snow's gone, the choices open up. Horse riding, 4WD and trail bike riding, hiking, fishing, mountain bike riding, white-water rafting. Craig's Hut, Lake Eildon and the surrounding wineries help round out the experience.
